
Always interested in anatomy and the workings of the human body, Steve began spending time in the gym when he discovered weight lifting as a functional way to enhance his high school sports performance. As a hobby, he used his growing knowledge of fitness to help friends and family. While attending Boston University he took courses in Human Biology, Nutrition Science, and Fitness Training. In May 2005 Steve received his Personal Trainer Certification through the American Council of Exercise. He then spent two years as a trainer at the state-of-the-art Boston University Fitness and Recreation Center.
Steve also was a children's physical education teacher and youth sports coach in the Boston area, and he spent two seasons as the goalkeeper coach for the boys' varsity soccer team at a high school in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Along the way he earned two coaching certifications from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
Forever passionate about soccer, Steve transfers the same energy into his training, where he enjoys working with individuals to achieve a wide spectrum of goals. With a B.A. in Psychology, Steve understands the importance of shaping workouts to maximize results and to match an individual's personality.
